I am part of a three person artist group, along with Elizabeth Fearon and Rupen, called the K8N Collective. We just had an opening at the Parrott Gallery in Belleville Ontario.
I keep busy, but on and off since 1975 I've also been working on wooden posts that are slowly turning into a crowd of something I don't feel capable of explaining. They emerge from my preoccupations with art history and epistemology, but they seem to be developing into an automonous forest of signs. I like them but I don't know why, and I consider that a good sign. I hope they continue to grow.

There’s something about these powerful, sparse verticles that remind of “wildlife pegs”, the standing trunks of trees sometimes left at the edges of farmer’s fields. Quite evocative. BTW, Great to meet you last night, Steve.
