Many years ago, I read a biography of Leonardo da Vinci. I was only in high school at the time, so I don’t really know how authoritative or accurate it may have been. I've forgotten most of the information about the political turmoil of his times, all his moves, and his various employers, but I do remember an anecdote. At one time, his studio was adjacent to a pub, and I suppose the noise and bluster interfered with his work.
There was a small hole in his studio wall adjacent to his neighbour, and he stuffed a pig bladder through the hole and inflated it from his side. The inexplicability of a bubble swelling out of the wall itself startled the patrons into silence. I think da Vinci had a wonderful sense of humour. Make it a good day.
