I think I understand your comments way better than I did when I first read them years ago. For me, it begs a question. There is really no accounting for why I like one painting and don't like another. Subjective response/reaction. I have always loved your planetary (if that's what they are) paintings. But if I am a lover of art, specifically paintings, how shall I respond to a painting completed by someone who has just enjoyed painting, for its own sake? Not trying to paint a thing. Not being a smartass intellectual. You, as painter, if I understand you, have immersed yourself in the activity of painting with paints. Much like the 3 year old in nursery school... before anyone has a chance to comment. Toddlers are so experimental and experiential in the activity of painting. Are you there when you paint? Gotta stop here.

Hi Aarifa, yes, 100%. It’s a matter of trying to see as close to just pure sensation as possible without presuming, or expecting anything in particular. And apologies, I should’ve replied to this along time ago. Busy life.
