This is the most interesting piece on art I have read in a long while! I especially appreciated your last paragraph about the voyage, especially since my upcoming exhibition has that word in the title. Art has always felt to me like a never-ending exploration of what might be, and feeling the ‘clicks’ along the way as some kind of surprise reward for the effort. Some very wise words Steve! No matter how primal it may sound I will never give up on my own personal approach to making visual art. We may have had many teachers but for us schools is out and it’s time to speak with our own voice and ideas.
